Why do you love living in the Borders?
That’s the question Hart Builders and Eildon Housing Association asked Galashiels Primary schools when they were invited to paint a mural on the fence that surrounds our development site at Huddersfield Street in Galashiels. The Galashiels Braw Lad and Lass unveiled the artwork from Clovenfords, Burgh, St Peters’, St Margaret’s, Stow, Tweedbank and Langlee Primary schools which will be entered into this year’s Ivor Goodsite hoarding competition. Children of all ages can take part in the competition which is designed to unleash artistic skills on site hoardings up and down the country.
Hart Builders Managing Director Andy Mallice said “This project has been great fun for all those involved. Hart Builders has been extremely impressed by all the children’s hard work and their collaboration and are very proud to be able to display their final designs for the wider community to admire”.
