Gala Men’s shed, a communal workshop in the Borders, were thrown a lifeline when Hart Builders got involved in helping them repair their community shed. Ross Hall, the Men’s Shed Development Officer said that ‘the donation of the wood and nails to repair the building has been a lifesaver for us at Gala Men’s shed, as it was just going to be too expensive to be able to repair ourselves. The wood underneath the building was completely rotten and it all had to come off and get replaced.’ The repairs have given the building a whole new lease of life which Shed members will benefit hugely from.
