We’re proud to engage in community benefits initiatives. These schemes support local people in on-site training placements that often result in real employment opportunities. Our commitment to the community also means we make sure that local small and medium sized enterprises are informed of all tendering opportunities that arise, in order to promote and encourage the growth and success of these businesses.
Cruden have extensive experience in providing Community Benefits to the communities that we work in.
It is important to establish the most suitable form of benefits and how these can best be delivered and it would therefore be our intention to discuss any proposals in detail with the Client Group and nominated representatives, local residents, schools and community groups. We have three key members of staff who will be responsible for the delivery of these benefits - Gordon Lee (Partnering & Procurement Director), Paul Boland (Human Resources Manager) and Terrie Harvey (Chief Buyer). In a similar way to the benefits sought through the Employment & Training requirement, Paul will manage and monitor all information in relation to community projects.
It is key that what we can do to make a difference can be wide ranging from supporting community gardens, school projects, interview coaching & CV skills, as well as employment and experience based opportunities.
