PROJECT SHOWCASE: TRANENT NORTHERN PRIMARY SCHOOL

The new 5410m sq Sanderson’s Wynd primary school on the North of the town provides early learning, nursery and primary education facilities.

The two storey eco friendly building has been designed to minimise energy use and provide a healthy internal environment.

Environmentally friendly features include a green “living roof” of sedum, warmcell insulation, wind turbines, a grey water capturing system as well as wetland planting to encourage biodiversity/wildlife.
