PROJECT SHOWCASE: JORDAN STREET, WHITEINCH

As with many of our clients, Whiteinch & Scotstoun are a community based organisation and they have fully embraced this concept within the design of the development. Jordan Street incorporates the Association’s head offices, a large community hub and 23 flats for rent. The hub is now a focal point for the surrounding residents and provides activities for the community within the large hall and a place to meet for tea and coffee throughout the day. The development also incorporates a communal heating system, which serves all buildings from a centrally located boiler plant.

Since its formal opening two years ago, the project has proved highly successful and has created a sustainable local community.
