PROJECT SHOWCASE: AUCHENBACK, BARRHEAD

Elevations

This development was particulary challenging as it involved the construction of 65 new build houses on eight gap sites. All of the sites were adjacent to existing tenants and were all steeply sloping. A great deal of time was spent during the design stage to arrive at a solution which would come within the funding parameters. This was successfully achieved by the incorporation of split level houses and strategically positioned retaining walls. A large play area was also created with the use of timber permacrib retaining walls to provide a softer and more asthetically pleasing solution.
