Cube Housing Association

Cruden Building & Renewals have been our partners for the last nine years in the hugely successful regeneration of our estate in Haldane, Balloch. They have provided Cube with 140 high quality houses and flats. Throughout our relationship, I have found the company to be reliable, helpful and conscientious. Cruden has played a major part in the success of the partnership.

Clyde Valley Housing Association

Our partner relationships are hugely important to Clyde Valley Housing Association and particularly those who build new housing supply in our name. The Cruden Group has worked with us now for several years, over which time we have successfully tackled both small and larger scale regeneration side by side, evidenced in hundreds of our satisfied customers across Lanarkshire. With an approach that is professional, open and solution focused, we are proud to call the Cruden Group a key delivery partner for Clyde Valley Housing Association.

Elderpark Housing Association Ltd

Cruden Building & Renewals is one of Elderpark Housing Association’s preferred development partners. We have found them to be very professional and efficient in their approach. The company is flexible and responsive with a commitment to training and apprenticeships, partnering with the local Housing Associations and Glasgow South West Regeneration Agency to generate Community Benefit opportunities throughout the greater Govan area.

Ardenglen Housing Association

Ardenglen has worked exclusively with CBRL for over 10 years. This ongoing partnership is the result of the company's exceptionally high standards of product and process, their client focus, in depth knowledge of the Housing Association sector and a "right first time" approach that pervades the whole organisation. I believe there is a true commitment within CBRL that regeneration really matters and that there is genuine pride in the contribution they have made in supporting their client partners to improve the housing conditions of so many people. We look forward to continuing our relationship for many years to come.

Calvay Housing Association

Cruden Building & Renewals has been the successful contractor for many of the Association’s major new build housing developments over the past decade; they were also the successful contractor for the Association’s £1m new build extension at our local community centre. Over the years, CBRL’s managerial and site staff have continually struck an excellent working relationship with all design team members and Association staff alike, and this in turn has led to successful projects on time and on cost.  Working with Cruden gives the Association peace of mind that the job will be well done.

Govan Housing Association

Cruden Building & Renewals (CBRL) completed their first new build contract for Govan HA back in 2008.  Since then they have gone on to win two further new build contracts which are currently on site, with two additional projects in the pipeline for 2011.  Cruden Building & Renewals have proven repeatedly that they can be competitive, construct our houses to a high standard and that they are committed to building and maintaining long-term relationships with the Association.  Their work has been on-time and on-budget.

It was refreshing to see that CBRL were very attentive during and beyond the defects liability period and they ensured that all work was completed to our satisfaction.  Even when problems arose, Cruden faced them head-on and were as keen to get them rectified as we were.  The reassurance this gives has helped build our confidence in them as a partner.

We have always found the CBRL staff, both from head office and on site, to be extremely courteous when dealing with our committee, staff and tenants.

Govan HA have enjoyed working with CBRL and look forward to working on the future projects together.

Barrhead Housing Association

Barrhead Housing Association has worked with Cruden Building and Renewals as its preferred development partner over the last 3 years, during which they have completed two design and build projects.

The first project, valued at £1.228 million, was a 12 unit three storey tenement block for supported accommodation for young homeless residents in a small challenging site within the centre of Barrhead.  Despite the local hostility towards the project aims, Cruden worked well with the local community during the on-site period to provide information on what the project would look like and provide at completion.

The second project was a more challenging development of 65 units across 7 sites on the side of a hill in Auchenback, Barrhead, valued at £8.38 million.  Despite the challenges of steep gradients and tight site areas, Cruden worked well to deliver the projects for the Association and tackled all issues in a professional and pragmatic manner.

Both projects were delivered within budget and both within timescales agreed.  The project was managed by a team of consultants led by Anderson Bell + Christie, Architects and overseen on Barrhead’s behalf by development agency services provided by West of Scotland Housing Association.

Rosehill Housing Co-operative

Rosehill has worked with Cruden Building and Renewals in both traditionally tendered new-build and refurbishment jobs and on a partnering basis.  I have always been very impressed with how they go about their business, and how much effort is put in to getting things right the first time.  As a company, they recognise the need for flexibility, good site management and a true partnering approach.

Each of our developments has been completed on time, within budget and to very high standards of workmanship.
